The village was established in 1796.It is one of the most peaceful and quiet places in the whole country. The village is at the same time very well-developed, there are shops, cafes, 2 schools, library, etc. The people there still keep the Bulgarian traditions and customs. They are keen on the so called “Kukeri”. These are especially men that are dressed with wool clothes mainly and wearing different masks on their faces. Everything is done for fun, because the people in the village are very friendly and say that laughter has a magic power,
