Borisovo Bulgaria.
The village is located in Yambol region, Elhovo municipality and is approximately 95km from Bourgas and the airport. It is famous with its church “Saint Dimitar”, which is the oldest one in this region. Nearby there are found the ruins of medieval castle and a Thracian tomb. There are also 3 fountains in the village that date from Roman times and through that village the old road to Odrin and Konstantinopol passed. Many famous people were born in the village and grew up there, such as Kovachevi brothers, Radoslav Yanchev and many more. The village is also quite famous for the production of fine wine. |
